Membership Criteria and Qualifications
Qualification for Membership
- Academic or other informatics research and training unit self-declares for membership
- Unit must have established informatics researchers and trainees
- More than one unit per host organization permitted
- Unit must have post-baccalaureate training programs
- Head of unit has demonstrated commitment to AMIA through membership at the individual or institutional level
Annual Dues
Dues are based on the number of full-time faculty.
- $1,000 per year for five or less
- $3,000 per year for six to nineteen
- $5,000 per year for twenty or more
The term of Charter Members that join the Academic Forum in 2007 will run through December 31, 2008. To obtain Charter Member status you must join during the 2007 calendar year.
