Dental Informatics Faculty Position
XXX University School of Dentistry invites applicants for a full-time, tenure track (Presidential) faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Dental Informatics. Applicants should possess a dental degree, advanced computer skills, postgraduate education in dental informatics and/or dental public health, and a documented record of scholarly research productivity as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals and/or acquisition of research grant support. Preference will be given to applicants with advanced academic degrees (masters, PhD) and expertise in conduct and statistical analysis of human epidemiological studies.

Duties will encompass teaching, research, and service as a pre-doctoral and graduate level in dental informatics and public health.

Associate Professor
XXX University School of Dentistry is recruiting an outstanding individual to lead the school's efforts in academic computing. The successful candidate will plan and direct the implementation of information technology (IT) for educational purposes. Responsibilities include strategic planning for IT at the school and department level, procurement of intramural and extramural funds, supervision of instructional design staff, teaching, and conduct of research projects. The position is closely integrated with all other research and development efforts of the Department of Dental Informatics.

The position requires an individual with a successful track record (5+years) of instructional design projects in dentistry or medicine, significant publication activity, and past and/or current extramural funding. An MS or PhD degree in Instructional Design or related field is required, a DMD/DDS or MD degree is desired.
